About Us

Corporate Governance

TEINTO operates as an independent brand with complete ownership of its technology, quality systems, and healthcare partnerships. Governance is not a bureaucratic formality—it is the disciplined framework that ensures every strategic decision, from product specification to regulatory submission, serves one fixed and immutable reference point: power reliability in healthcare settings.

Since inception, we have maintained a lean but rigorous governance structure. Shareholders appoint a Board of Directors responsible for strategic oversight. The Board integrates expertise in power electronics, electrical engineering, healthcare infrastructure, energy management, and global regulatory affairs—ensuring that product decisions are grounded in clinical reality rather than commercial convenience. Specialized committees operate within the Board in proportion to the company’s scale:

  • Audit Committee – oversees financial reporting, internal controls, and external audits. Financial integrity underpins operational integrity.
  • Nomination Committee – ensures the right balance of technical and clinical expertise on the Board, identifying members who understand the unique pressures of healthcare power management.
  • Compensation Committee – aligns executive rewards with long-term value creation, measured by system uptime, clinical satisfaction, and documented improvements in power reliability outcomes.

The Board appoints executive officers to execute the strategic vision. Supporting them are internal groups, including a Power Quality and Technology Committee, which reviews system performance, field failure data, and engineering improvements, and a Risk and Regulatory Panel, which manages regulatory changes, supplier audits, and field safety corrections. An independent Internal Audit team reports directly to the Audit Committee.

Based in China, with partners and clients across global markets, TEINTO applies these governance principles across all operations. A lean structure does not weaken governance; it makes every decision visible, every risk owned, and every leader accessible. Governance is not a diagram—it is a commitment to the radiologist interpreting an MRI, the surgeon operating under surgical lights, the ICU nurse monitoring a ventilator, and the facility manager who must balance operational budgets against power reliability requirements.

The Board of Directors

TEINTO is led by its founders and an executive team, with strategy reviewed by a Board of Directors. The Board ensures that long-term plans for products, technology, and market expansion remain aligned with core values and power quality safety. It delegates oversight to the Power Quality and Technology Committee, which meets quarterly and reports to the full Board. This structure ensures that quality and reliability remain above commercial pressure—especially in a field where power failures can have cascading clinical consequences.

Governance Principles

Three anchors guide all decisions: transparency, accountability, and an unwavering focus on power reliability. Design reviews, supplier selections, field corrections, and post-market surveillance are meticulously documented and traceable. Accountability extends to every clinician, technician, and facility manager who relies on our power systems.

Risk Management and Compliance

TEINTO operates under a certified quality management system conforming to ISO 9001 and relevant electrical and medical device standards. Risk management follows IEC 60601 and related standards with heightened attention to power-related hazards: voltage instability, harmonic distortion, interruption duration, transfer failure, battery thermal events, generator start failure, and isolation loss. Registrations in China, the European Union, and other jurisdictions are maintained directly by TEINTO. Regulatory changes are continuously monitored and incorporated.

Because we control our technology and supply chain, we also control supplier qualification. Our supplier audit programme includes annual on-site assessments focusing on quality systems, electrical safety standards, and specific healthcare-power requirements. No component enters a TEINTO system without internal verification.

Stakeholder Engagement

We work closely with hospital infrastructure directors, equipment procurement officers, radiology department heads, ICU/OR nurse managers, IT directors, sustainability officers, facility management teams, electrical contractors, distributors, regulators, and manufacturing partners. Engagement includes technical advisory panels, post-installation satisfaction surveys, open channels for near-miss reporting, and regular design-review forums with factory partners. We are a responsive team—we listen because listening directly translates to reliable power for patients.
